  • Highway 52 E - Incident

    Highway 52 E. Forest fire between Kelly Lake Rd and Stone Creek Rd for 36.0 km (111 to 75 km east of Tumbler Ridge). Road closed. Road closed due to risk of fire crossing highway. Next update time Sun Sep 8 at 10:00 AM MST. Last updated Sat Sep 7 at 9:53 AM MST. (DBC-67998)

  • Highway 97 - Future Planned

    Highway 97 (Alaska Highway). Road construction work planned between Pingel Creek Rd and Pingel Creek Rd (4 km south of Taylor). Starting Mon Sep 9 at 7:00 AM MST until Fri Sep 13 at 7:00 PM MST.     Highway 97 (Alaska Highway), in both directions. Bridge construction between Macdonald Campground Access Rd and Liard River Hotsprings Access Rd (301 km north of Fort Nelson). Until Mon Sep 30. Work on the Liard River Bridge. Single lane alternating traffic in effect. Maximum width of 3.5m for all traffic crossing the bridge. Watch for traffic control.   • Highway 97 - Both Directions - Future Planned

    Highway 97 (Alaska Highway), in both directions. Utility work planned between 258 Rd and 260 Rd for 3.4 km (34 to 37 km north of Fort St John). Starting Wed Sep 11 at 8:00 AM MST until Wed Sep 11 at 6:00 PM MST. Single lane alternating traffic will be in effect. Speed reduction to 50km/hr. Emergency vehicles have right of way.
